Privacy operations

Data deletion.

Royalty Paid deletes data when we no longer need it to operate the network, when a user makes a valid deletion request, or when a connected platform requires deletion after disconnect.

Creators

Email hello@royaltypaid.com with the subject Data Deletion Request. Include the email address and handle tied to your creator account. We may keep records that are required for tax, fraud, payment, or accounting obligations.

Brands

Brand contacts can request deletion or export of brand account data by emailing the same address from a brand-owned email domain. Sales records may be retained where needed for commission, refund, tax, or contract records.

Shopify stores

Uninstalling the Royalty Paid Shopify app stops new webhook processing and clears the active connection state. Shopify compliance webhooks are acknowledged at /api/webhook/shopify/gdpr and recorded for audit.

Social platforms

Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube account connections are not live in the creator portal yet. When approved platform OAuth goes live, this page will list each connected data type, disconnect path, retention window, and callback behavior.

Response timing

We respond to privacy and deletion requests within 30 days unless a shorter period is required by law or a platform policy. For urgent platform-review questions, include Platform Review in the subject line.
